We all gathered at the Bell's on a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon. Nearly all of the members were able to attend this year's party. Only Paul (camping with family and friends), Howard (in Europe with his family) and Loren (with friends visiting from out of town) were unable to attend.
Neal and Val made arrangements for a live band and barrel tasting in addition to providing those attending to a ton of food to sample. We also made arrangements for a "Hoppity House" for the kids. And while there were no horse rides this year, Neal once again allowed those crazy enough to ride the four wheeler in the field.
Both members and guests brought some very fine wine and side dishes to share, the latter including a risotto with carmelized cauliflower and almonds, cold salmon, corn casserole, salmon pate, a baby grass salad with raspberries, toasted walnuts and gorganzola, tiramisu, and a plum/raspberry upside down cake.
